Mount Kilimanjaro Marathon 4 days/ 3 nights
Day 1: Arrival Arusha and are transferred to the Moshi City with overnight
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro Airport, near Arusha, Tanzania, you are met by our representative and transferred to the Moshi City nearby. On arrival, you check in and have overnight at the Dual Mountain Lodge, Moshi. Bed and breakfast
Mount Kilimanjaro Marathon 4 days/ 3 nights
Day 2: Moshi – Umbwe – Barranco- Karanga with overnight at Barafu Campsite 4,700m
Early breakfast at Dual Mountain Lodge, Moshi. Soon thereafter; you will be met by our representative for briefing and then start the drive from Moshi through to the Umbwe Park Gate. After registration you pass through the forest passing Umbwe caves.
As you continue the climb gets steeper and rocky and you then reach Barranco Campsite 3950 metres for
Lunch and short rest. You will have done 17 kilometres already.
After lunch, you continue the climb and scramble on the Barranco Wall and then gentle to Karanga Campsite after passing the Karanga Valley. Continue with the climb to Barafu Campsite 4,700 metres arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight. Full board
Day 3: Barafu to summit at 5,895m down to Mweka Camp at
3,100m Mweka Gate and back to Moshi City with overnight
This is your summiting day; you will rise at midnight, and after some tea and biscuits, you start climb up through the scree to Stella point 4,720m. Proceed around the Crater Rim to Uhuru Peak 5,895 metres.
. After reaching on the summit, Uhuru Peak; 5895 metres; you enjoy your accomplishment during and after the sunrise as you take some photos for your memory.
You will then take your descent through the Mweka Route through the Mweka Gate, where you take your transport back to Moshi. Overnight at Dual Mountain Lodge, Moshi. Breakfast and lunch
Day 4: Transfer to the Airport and depart
Breakfast at the Dual Mountain Lodge. In good time you are transferred to the Airport and take your ongoing flight . Breakfast
