Mount Kilimanjaro Day Trip Trek – 1 Day
Day 1: Moshi – Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut 2,720m onto Maundi Crater 2,780 m
back to Mandara Hut, Marangu Gate and you are transferred back to Moshi Town
Pick up from your Moshi Hotel in the morning and drive to the Marangu Gate 1860 metres. Here you undertake the registration and start the hike through the forest. Here you watch monkeys and bird species.
You hike to the Mandara Hut 2,720 metres. Hike onto the area around the Maundi Crater 2,780 metres.
Here you have the view point to watch Kibo and Mawenzi Peaks. After your picnic lunch, descend via the Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate, where you sign out and are transferred back to Moshi Town and dropped off. Lunch
