Mount Kilimanjaro Overnight Trek- 2 days/1 night
Day 1: Moshi – Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut 2,720m
Pick up from your Moshi Hotel in the morning and drive to the Marangu Gate 1860 metres.
Here you undertake the registration and start the hike through the forest. Here you watch monkeys and bird species.
You hike for 3 to 4 hours and arrive in the evening at the Mandara Hut 2,720 metres. Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut. Lunch and dinner
Day 2: Trek from Mandara to the Maundi Crater 2,780m and descend to Mandara Hut to The Gate and are dropped off in Moshi Town
Early breakfast at the Hut. Make the 45 minutes hike to the area around the Maundi Crater 2,780 metres.
Here you have the view point to watch Kibo and Mawenzi Peaks. Descend via the Mandara Hut to Marangu Gate, where you sign out and are transferred back to Moshi Town and dropped off. Breakfast and lunch
